What is Jackalope Collective?

Jackalope Collective is a curiosity-centered bookshop and gift shop rooted in imagination, learning, creativity, and connection. We curate books, paper goods, creative tools, games, learning materials, and thoughtful everyday objects for people who care about living well, learning deeply, and building a more connected world.

Our shop is designed for readers, families, educators, curious adults, creative kids, thoughtful gift-givers, and anyone who believes that books, play, art, and community matter.

What kinds of products do you carry?

We carry a curated mix of books, learning tools, creative supplies, paper goods, games, puzzles, reading accessories, gifts, and gathering items.

How do you choose what goes in the shop?

We are especially drawn to items that feel thoughtful, well-made, imaginative, socially conscious, artful, or genuinely useful. We try to avoid clutter-for-clutter’s-sake and focus on things that can be used, gifted, shared, read, revisited, or enjoyed over time.

Is Jackalope Collective only for kids?

No. Jackalope Collective is adult-forward and child-welcome.

We love children’s books, learning materials, games, and creative tools, but the shop is not only for children. Many of our books, gifts, stationery items, home goods, and community-centered collections are chosen with adults in mind.

Jackalope is a shop for curious people of all ages.

Do you sell your own products?

Yes. Some items are original Jackalope products, such as printable learning resources, activity books, stationery, guides, and future Jackalope Paper Co. or Jackalope Workshop items.

We also carry carefully selected products from other publishers, makers, artists, and mission-aligned brands.

Are your books shipped directly from Jackalope?

Some books and products may ship from Jackalope, while others may ship directly from one of our trusted fulfillment partners, publishers, vendors, or distributors.

Because we work with a mix of inventory sources, your order may arrive in more than one package.

Will all of my items ship together?

Not always. If your order includes items from multiple suppliers, your products may ship separately and arrive at different times.

You will receive shipping information as it becomes available. Separate shipments do not usually mean something is wrong with your order.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping times vary depending on the item, vendor, and destination.

Most orders are processed as quickly as possible, but books, specialty items, print-on-demand products, and vendor-shipped goods may have different timelines. Estimated shipping information will be shown at checkout.

Do you offer local pickup?

Local pickup may be available for select items, pop-ups, events, or special collections. If local pickup is available, it will appear as an option at checkout or be clearly noted on the product page.

Do you accept returns?

Because we carry a mix of books, paper goods, creative kits, gifts, and vendor-shipped items, return eligibility may vary by product.

Unused, unopened, and undamaged items may be eligible for return within the return window stated in our shop policies. Final sale items, digital products, custom items, opened kits, and certain books or paper goods may not be eligible for return.

Please review the return policy before purchasing or contact us with questions about a specific item.

What if my item arrives damaged?

Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos of the damaged item and packaging.

We will review the issue and help determine the best next step, which may include a replacement, refund, or vendor-supported resolution depending on the item.

Do you sell digital products?

Yes. Some Jackalope products may be digital downloads, such as printable activity books, guides, learning resources, planners, or creative templates.

Digital products are typically delivered by email or download link after purchase. Because they are delivered instantly, digital products are usually final sale.

Can I print digital products more than once?

Digital products are intended for personal, household, or single-classroom use unless otherwise stated.

You may print a purchased digital item for your own use, your family, or your classroom. You may not resell, redistribute, upload, share, or use Jackalope digital products commercially without written permission.

Do you offer gift cards?

Gift cards may be available through the shop. If they are currently offered, you will find them listed in the gift card section or through the shop menu.

Can you help me choose a gift?

Yes. We love helping people find thoughtful gifts.

You can browse by category, age, interest, or recipient type. If you are shopping for a reader, teacher, student, creative person, gardener, host, new parent, kid, teen, or someone hard to shop for, our gift collections are a good place to start.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Gift wrapping may be offered seasonally, locally, or for select items. If available, it will be shown on the product page or at checkout.

Do you carry products from small businesses or independent makers?

Yes. We aim to include a thoughtful mix of independent makers, small brands, publishers, artists, and mission-aligned companies alongside select larger suppliers when their products fit the Jackalope vision.

Can I suggest a book, product, artist, or vendor?

Absolutely. We are always open to discovering books, makers, publishers, artists, and brands that align with Jackalope’s values.

You can send suggestions through our contact page. We cannot guarantee that every suggestion will be added, but we do review ideas with care.

Do you host events or community programs?

Jackalope Collective is growing toward more community-centered programming, including reading circles, learning resources, creative gatherings, pop-ups, workshops, and family-friendly events.

What is Chispa?

Chispa is the editorial and community-centered side of Jackalope Collective.

Through Chispa, we share essays, interviews, guides, reading lists, reflections, and community resources connected to education, creativity, parenting, caregiving, social issues, books, learning, and everyday acts of care.

The word “chispa” means “spark,” and that is the heart of the project: small sparks of thought, connection, imagination, and action.

What kinds of topics does Chispa cover?

Chispa explores the ideas and lived experiences that shape how we learn, care, create, parent, teach, gather, and participate in our communities.

Topics may include education, books, childhood, family life, creative practice, community care, social issues, sustainability, civic life, identity, mental load, caregiving, leaving or changing careers, and the small rituals that help people feel more connected to themselves and the world around them.

Can I contribute to Chispa?

Yes. We welcome thoughtful contributions from writers, parents, educators, artists, librarians, caregivers, students, organizers, and community members with something meaningful to share.

Chispa is especially interested in personal essays, practical guides, interviews, resource lists, reflections, and community-centered pieces that feel honest, useful, curious, compassionate, and grounded.

We are not looking for generic content or promotional posts. We are looking for writing that offers a real perspective, a useful resource, or a spark of connection.

How do I pitch or submit something to Chispa?

You do not need to be a professional writer to pitch us. Clear, thoughtful, lived-in perspectives are welcome.

Are Chispa contributors paid?

We are working toward sustainable contributor payment as Chispa grows.

At this stage, contributor opportunities may vary depending on the piece, project, partnership, and available funding. If payment is available for a specific call or project, we will say so clearly.

Supporting Chispa directly helps us move toward paying more contributors, commissioning original work, and building a stronger community resource library.

How can I support Chispa?
